St. Vincent-St. Mary looked its best so far this season on January 24 when the Fighting Irish took a 17-point victory over Thurgood Marshall.
Starting strong and never looking back, St. Vincent led by seven after the first quarter and ran the score up to 38-23 by the half. By the end of the third, the Fighting Irish built up a 59-36 advantage.
In the fourth, Thurgood Marshall scored an impressive 29 points, but St. Vincent had already built up much too large of a lead for any threat. The final score finished with a 82-65 score line in favor of the Fighting Irish.
Josh Williams and Henry Baddley led the way with 18 points each. Williams added on five rebounds and two assists. Jibri Blount and Jayvon Graves each added on 14 points.
Now 13-0, St. Vincent-St. Mary ranks 9th in the DigitalSports National Basketball Rankings and 1st in Ohio. The Fighting Irish next face Warrensville Heights on January 27.
